Saint Regis Hotel During a resent
renovation to the hotel, new traditional exterior waterproofing was planed
for several of the below grade walls. While traditional exterior
waterproofing is highly effective when applied correctly it requires
excavation of the soils to expose the walls. With nearly three floors of
below grade walls to waterproof the amount of excavation was going to be
an expensive part of the overall multi million-dollar renovation.
T. Luckey Sons Inc.
was contacted to review the project and offer possible alternative
waterproofing systems that would require no excavating. T. Luckey Sons
Inc. reviewed the project and proposed injecting waterproof polyurethane
grout through the foundation walls to form the waterproof
barrier. Through a series of
injection holes drilled through the below grade walls an expanding
polyurethane grout was injected to form the required waterproof barrier
without any excavation required. Polyurethane Grout Used: Green Mountain International For more information on this project please call Randall Brooks at 513-353-2544. |
